No, it isn't a race. However, we do have some timed sections which you can choose to ride as fast or slow as you please. Between these stages is completely untimed giving you the chance to kick back and enjoy what's going on around you.
We will have both Marshals and signage in place giving you ample warning.
We wouldn't describe the routes as flat but we have specifically put in a long and short course option. If you start on the long course you can always drop down to the short on the route.

At the festival village, we just have camping and campervan options. However, the village is based just a couple of miles outside the town of Innerleithen where there is a great mix of accomodation on offer.
